Stanford wins 5th Pac-10 title in row

Candice Wiggins, Susan Borchardt and Azella Perryman scored 14 points apiece, and the No. 4 Stanford Cardinal (23-2, 14-1 Pac-10) wrapped up their record-tying fifth straight Pacific-10 Conference championship with an 88-62 victory over the Southern California Trojans (10-6, 16-9) in Los Angeles.

The win was the 14th in a row for Stanford, which hasn’t lost since the 62-58 decision at Oregon on Dec. 29.

(12) DePaul 82, St. Louis 64: At St. Louis, Khara Smith totaled 25 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Blue Demons (22-3, 11-1 C-USA) past the Billikens (3-22, 2-10) for their 11th straight victory. DePaul has won 16 of its last 17 and has tied the school mark for the best record through 25 games – a record which has been hit three times, including last year.
