Heat continue streak as Wade sparks blowout victory over Bobcats

Dwyane Wade used an array of dunks and a spectacular blind over-the-shoulder flip to score 26 points and lead the Miami Heat to their 14th straight win, 113-90 Saturday night over the Charlotte Bobcats in Miami.

Wade made 11 of 16 shots and added nine assists for the Heat, who have the NBA’s longest winning streak this season. Miami turned the game into a blowout with a 27-12 third-quarter burst.

Shaquille O’Neal added 16 points for Miami , which had all five starters score in double figures and moved 6 1/2 games ahead of Cleveland for the Eastern Conference’s best record.

Emeka Okafor had his 19th straight double-double – 17 points and 10 rebounds – for Charlotte, and Jason Hart added 14 points. The Bobcats’ starters were outscored 78-41 by Miami’s.

Nets 93, Knicks 87: At New York, Jason Kidd had the pass of the night, an off-the-backboard, alley-oop feed that Vince Carter dunked, and New Jersey defeated New York.

Stephon Marbury had 31 points, eight assists and four rebounds, but the Nets led throughout the final three quarters and beat their cross-river rivals for the 17th time in 20 meetings.

Grizzlies 104, Timberwolves 95: At Minneapolis, Pau Gasol scored 23 points and Earl Watson added 20 to lead Memphis to a come-from-behind victory.

Watson shot 7 for 10 and 5 for 5 from 3-point range for Memphis, which trailed by 15 points in the first half. Fellow reserve Bonzi Wells added 18 points as Memphis won its third straight and for the sixth time in eight games.

Bulls 105, Magic 90: At Chicago, Eddy Curry scored 22 points and Kirk Hinrich added 18 points and nine assists, leading Chicago over Orlando.

Grant Hill scored 16 points for Orlando, which lost its third straight overall and fifth consecutive on the road.

Trail Blazers 97, Warriors 88: At Portland, Ore., Shareef Abdur-Rahim had 26 points and nine rebounds to lead Portland to a come-from-behind victory over Golden State, snapping the Warriors’ four-game winning streak.

Off the court

Penny Hardaway was activated by the New York Knicks after missing 14 games because of a strained right hamstring. … The Orlando Magic activated center Kelvin Cato and placed forward Michael Bradley on the injured list because of a strained hamstring. … Portland’s Zach Randolph and Theo Ratliff sat out the game against Golden State because of injuries.
