Coeur d’Alene Police have released a security camera photo of a suspect in a New Year’s Day burglary.

The reported burglary at the Jammin Java espresso stand is one of about 20 business burglaries that have been reported to Coeur d’Alene Police in the past two weeks, according to a press release from the department.

“The suspect smashes windows to gain entry and appears to be searching for cash,” the press release said. The burglaries have all occurred during the early morning hours, but are not limited to a specific area in town, the release said.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect in the surveillance photos is asked to call the Coeur d’Alene Police Investigative Division at (208) 769-2291.

Or anyone with information can call the Tip Line at (208) 769-2296.
