The Spokane County Library District will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Valley branch Wednesday.
The event will celebrate the evolution of the library – from card catalogs to computer searches and from storytimes to summer reading programs. The public is invited to enjoy food and beverages at the branch, 12004 E. Main Ave., from 2 to 7 p.m.
