Valley library branch to celebrate 50 years

The Spokane County Library District will celebrate the 50th anniversary of its Valley branch Wednesday.
The event will celebrate the evolution of the library – from card catalogs to computer searches and from storytimes to summer reading programs. The public is invited to enjoy food and beverages at the branch, 12004 E. Main Ave., from 2 to 7 p.m.
