South school seeks old photos

Lincoln Heights Elementary is planning an open house so former students can tour the old facility before the building is demolished and rebuilt later this year. The open house will probably be in late May or early June.

One planned part of the event is a continuously running slide show that would include pictures from all the decades. The facility, built in 1953, was originally a first- through eighth-grade school.

Principal Mike McGinnis is asking the public for photos to scan

for the slide show. The photos will be returned after they are scanned.

For information, call the school at 354-3300.

To register for a visit, call the Admissions Office, 466-1636, ext. 304, or e-mail Debbie.duvoisin@sgs.org.
