CHICAGO – Caprice Smith had 19 points and seven rebounds to help No. 17 DePaul defeat UAB 85-52 on Friday night for its 19th straight home victory.
Khara Smith added 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Blue Demons (16-3, 5-1 Conference USA), who used a 16-4 run at the end of the first half to take a 45-27 lead.
Crystal McFadden led the Blazers (5-15, 2-5) with 26 points.
