Fleet Reserve Association – For members of active duty, reserve and retired personnel of the Navy, Marines and Coast Guard, this group meets at noon on the second Saturday of every month at the Masonic Temple, 706 W. Garland. For information, call 326-2038 or 465-0315.

Social/recreational

Newman Lake Firefighter’s Auxiliary – meets the second Monday of every month at Fire Station 1 in Newman Lake. The next meeting is June 13 at 7 p.m. to support volunteer firefighters. Call Shelly 226-5326.

Painted Hills Ladies Golf League – Newcomers welcome throughout the season. Membership fees are $40. Call the clubhouse at 928-4653.
