Many faiths will gather for ethnic potluck

The Interfaith Council is presenting “Faith, Food and Fair Trade: Ingredients for a Strong Community,” an ethnic potluck and annual meeting on Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Ann’s Parish Hall, 2120 E. First Ave.

The evening will include music and poetry from the Baha’i, Sufi, Christian and Muslim communities, ethnic food, speakers from the Jewish, Hindu and Buddhist faiths, and a sale of products from around the world.

Church preschool reunion

The preschool at Centenary United Methodist Church is hosting its annual reunion Saturday at noon at Manito Park. The group will be the one with red, yellow and blue balloons.

All current and former students and their families are invited and are asked to bring salads, chips, vegetables, dips, fruit and desserts to share. The church will serve hot dogs and drinks.

In case of rain, the reunion will be held in the church, 1012 S. Freya St.

Spirituality classes

Ancient Traditions Community Church, 1928 E. Rich Ave., will offer Toltec Teachings for Strategic Living from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Tuesday through June 21.

The class will introduce students to the works of writers Don Miguel Ruiz, Theun Mares, Carlos Castaneda and more.

There is a suggested donation of $5 per class.

The church also will offer a class on Enneagram Personality Types on Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The class will focus on the nine attention styles that shape our world views. There is a suggested donation of $7.

Community dinner

St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2159 N. Hamilton St., will host a free dinner for the community Friday at 6 p.m.

Rummage sales

“ Country Homes Nazarene Church, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd., will hold an all-church rummage sale and car wash Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Items for sale include a 1990 Ford church van, which holds 15 passengers, for $500.

The sale will include furniture, clothing, kitchen items and collectibles, and concession stands.

The proceeds will benefit the church’s programs, such as the children’s ministries.

“ Plymouth Congregational Church, 1502 W. Eighth Ave., will present a parking lot sale Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Sale items include plants, tools, bedroom and bath linens and the youth group also will hold its annual car wash.
