Question of the Day — 6/23/05
Issue: Historic photo images are gone in a flash: Old negatives spontaneously combust in museum basement /Jonathan Brunt, SR.
DFO: In the summer between my sophomore and junior years in college, I literally lost every thing I owned in a fire that destroyed the small house I shared with a roommate. In fact, I’d just moved into the house and had everything piled in the middle of the living room when the fire hit. I regretted losing my high school and college letterman jackets most.
Question: Have you ever lost something of value in a fire?
