Mammography and Osteoporosis screenings – At Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy, 1327 W. Northwest Blvd., from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Contact the Sacred Heart Women’s Health Center coach at 474-2400 to schedule and appointment; all insurances will be accepted for mammograms; $15 screening fee for osteoporosis.

Babysitting Basics – Offered for 10- to 15-year old boys and girls interested in babysitting, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Deaconess Health Education Center. Cost is $38. Contact the Community Health Education and Resource office at 232-8138.

“Take a Time Out” for men – Free general health fair, 5:30-8:30 p.m., Sacred Heart Providence Auditorium. Includes dinner, screenings, discussions and information. Contact the CHER office at 232-8138 to register.

National HIV Testing Week – The North Idaho AIDS Coalition, 410 Sherman, Suite 15, Coeur d’Alene, is sponsoring National Testing Week through Friday. Free screenings and testings are available from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. For information, call Danielle Mahoney at (208) 665-1448.

Prepared Childbirth – This five-week class will discuss the stages and management of labor, breathing techniques, muscle toning and relaxation and meets weekly starting Wednesday, from 7-9 p.m. at the Holy Family Health Education Center, 5633 N. Lidgerwood. The cost is $80 and registration is required. Call the CHER office at 232-8138.

Community-wide Blood Drive – The Inland Northwest Blood Center is hosting a blood drive Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. at its Spokane and Coeur d’Alene locations. The days will include ice cream, popcorn, prize drawings and T-shirts. Spokane location is 210 W. Cataldo Ave.; Coeur d’Alene location is 1341 Northwood Center Court. Infant Massage – This class will discuss opportunities for interaction between parent and infant and the benefits of loving touch. The class meets Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Holy Family Health Education Center, 5633 N. Lidgerwood. The cost is $20 and registration is required. Call the CHER office at 232-8138.

Infant Massage – This class will discuss the benefits and techniques of massaging your infant. The classes start the first Tuesday of every month and continue weekly for four weeks. The next class begins next Tuesday at 3430 S. Grand Blvd. The cost is $80. For information, call 747-7377.
