Egg hunts Saturday

The Spokesman-Review

The baseball fields at Central Valley High School will be covered with eggs Saturday during an Easter egg hunt sponsored by Real Life Ministries.

CV students volunteered to stuff more than 8,000 plastic eggs with candy. There also will be prizes, including bikes, scooters, CD players and more.

The hunt begins at 10 a.m. at the school, 821 S. Sullivan Road, and is open to children through fifth grade.

Another Easter egg hunt is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at Good Samaritan Village, 17121 E. Eighth Ave. Every year the residents of Good Sam dye hundreds of eggs for the hunt which is open to children up to age 12. This year more than 2,200 eggs will be available.

Children who bring a can of food for the Valley Food Bank can get a free picture with the Easter Bunny. Pictures without the food donation are $2.
