One of four suspects arrested in robbery

From staff reports

A woman was arrested Monday in Oklahoma in connection with a violent home robbery in north Spokane, Spokane police reported.

Police believe a group of three women and one man robbed the home on North Five Mile Road on May 8. The robbers disabled the home phone and stole charge cards, a wallet, a cell phone and a watch, police said. Investigators believe that the four robbers, who remained in the house about 30 minutes, left in a 1994 silver Ford Aerostar with Montana license plate 3B52385.

One of the suspects, Pamela Drake, 32, was arrested in Shawnee, Okla., police spokesman Dick Cottam said in a press release.

Police believe two of the suspects still could be in the Northwest. They are Steven P. Unruh, 45, and Karen J. Applegate, 40.

Unruh is white, 5 feet 9 and 165 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes.

Applegate is white, 5 feet 8 and 125 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and sometimes uses the last name Sternberg.

Another suspect is believed to be in Oklahoma. She is Dalinda M. Combs, 34, who is white, 5 feet 6 and 130 pounds. She has red hair and green eyes and sometimes uses the last name Whitman.

The suspects are considered armed and dangerous. Police ask that anyone with information call 911.
