The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

• Homeless children’s summer camp needs 10 sleeping bags and toiletries. Contact Kim at YWCA, 326-1190, ext. 117.

• Single mom with two children needs queen mattress and box spring, and a sofa. Contact Kim at YWCA, 326-1190, ext. 117.

• Low-income family needs a bed and bedding and a TV. Contact Alaina at Breakthrough for Families, 688-1139.

• Low-income family needs twin and full mattress and dressers. Contact Kira at ECEAP, 228-4541.

• Single mom with premature son needs bassinet and preemie clothes. Contact Gail at SNAP, 487-1114.

• Homeless children need boys pants sizes 10, 12, 14, 16; young men’s pants sizes 26, 28, 29; and girls pants sizes 7, 8, 10. Contact Kim at YWCA, 326-1190, ext. 117.
