NEW FACES

Fidelity Associates Insurance Brokers has hired Lesley Hutson as a sales account executive in the employee benefits division of the company. She has worked in the insurance industry since 1988 and previously worked for Marsh.

Lesya Vasilenko has been hired as a sales agent at Coldwell Banker Northwest Group. She previously worked at Century 21 Premier Service.

HuntMountain Resources has hired Steve Taylor as the director of investor relations and corporate secretary. He holds a degree in finance and economics from Eastern Washington University and is a member of the Spokane Valley City Council.

Sarah Leverett-Main has been hired as a real estate sales associate at Re/Max of Spokane. She previously directed a graduate program in counselor education at Eastern Washington University.

Sterling Hospitality has hired Brendan Genther as general manager of the Holiday Inn Express in Spokane Valley. He previously worked at Red Lion Hotels.

HuntMountain Resources has hired Randal Hardy as chief financial officer and treasurer. He previously worked at Sunshine Mining and Sunshine Mining and Refining Company. Hardy holds a degree in finance from Boise State University.

PROMOTED

Northwest Architectural Company has promoted Rachel Zarkos from staff member to associate. She works as an executive assistant and has worked for the company since 1989.

Joe Holland has been promoted to an environmental health and safety officer at HollisterStier. He has been with the company for 17 years.

KUDOS

The Washington Correctional Association has awarded Kaye Adkins the Helen B. Ratcliff Award for enhancing and supporting the professional growth of women in corrections. Adkins is a regional administrator in the Community Corrections Division of the Washington State Department of Corrections.

APPOINTED/ELECTED

Bridget Piper has been appointed chairwoman of the Go Red for Women annual luncheon to be held in Feb. 2006. Piper is vice president of corporate development at Sterling Savings Bank.

GIFTS

Washington Trust Bank has donated $50,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County. The funds will benefit the organization’s various after-school programs.

Kootenai Electric Cooperative has donated $9,017.60 to North Idaho Habitat for Humanity. The funds were raised at the KEC/Coeur d’Alene Casino Golf Classic that was held at Circling Raven Golf Course.
