Danielle Raczykowski headed a corner kick to Jenna Galloway, who scored from 6 yards out in the first minute of the second half to give host Ferris a 2-1 victory over East Valley in a Greater Spokane League girls soccer match Friday.

Kirsten Bafus put the Saxons (8-2, 8-1 GSL) ahead with a header in the 17th minute. Freshman Echo Abramson evened the match for the Knights (6-5, 5-4) in the 29th.

In other GSL action, University remained undefeated with a 2-0 win over visiting Lewis and Clark (4-8, 3-6). Rachel Lopez scored and added an assist for the Titans (11-0, 9-0). … Marissa Poorboy scored two goals as Gonzaga Prep defeated host Rogers 6-0. Andrea Driscoll added a goal and an assist for G-Prep (10-1, 8-1), which held Rogers (0-10, 0-9) without a shot. … Jaimey Etten and Chelsea Mykines each had a goal and an assist to lead Mead (9-2, 7-2) over host West Valley 7-1. Lindsay Hood (3-8, 1-8) scored for the Eagles in the final minute to prevent the shutout. … Justine Bowman scored from 6 yards out in the 76th minute to lead Central Valley (6-5, 6-3) over visiting North Central 1-0. Alicia Kahler had 15 saves for the Indians (2-9, 1-8), who were outshot 24-2.

Volleyball

Oceana Bush had seven kills and seven digs to lead Lewis and Clark (9-1) to a sweep of host Clarkston (0-10) in a Greater Spokane League match.
