Many contribute in CV’s 8-0 win

Eight different players scored, including backup keeper Mikala Lochikar, and 14 shared in the points as Central Valley scored an 8-0 Greater Spokane League girls soccer win over visiting Clarkston on Monday.

The match was rescheduled from last Friday.

Senior Molly Nordstrom got the scoring started in the fourth minute and sophomore Jessica Cook capped it in the 71st minute.

Nordstrom, sophomore Justine Bowman and junior Anne Weisbeck each had a goal and an assist as the multiple-point scorers.

CV (7-6-1, 7-4 GSL) outshot the Bantams (0-11, 0-4) 26-1. Sophomore Mallory Flesher and Lochikar divided the goal-keeping. Lochikar made the only save needed for the shutout.
