Petco donation gives SCRAPS money for spaying, neutering
Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service, or SCRAPS, now has more money to spay or neuter pets brought into the animal shelter.
The Petco Foundation recently gave SCRAPS $1,129 toward the spay-neuter program.
The money comes from the Sullivan Road store in Spokane Valley. It was raised during Petco’s “Round Up/Spay Today” fund-raiser, which urged customers to round their purchases up to the nearest dollar, leaving the extra money for spay and neuter programs.
