Oregon E. coli cases linked to Washington
BEND, Ore. – Three confirmed E. coli cases in Bend may be linked to an outbreak in Washington state, according to tests reviewed by the Deschutes County Health Department.
Dan Peddycord, the county’s health services administrator, said DNA “fingerprinting” on one of the local E. coli cases matched an outbreak in Washington traced to parsley used at restaurants and grocery stores there.
