Your camping stories wanted

The Spokesman-Review

Every camper has had a favorite story, and most of them have something to do with experiences such as mosquito bites in sensitive areas, tents that buckle under the force of thunder storms or s’mores that end up in somebody’s hair.

Or there’s the one about the pot of stew that left everyone in camp with dysentery or the horrifying experiences with creatures lurking in the night.

You know what we mean.

So tell them to us. Send your worst-case camping scenario to Outdoors & Travel and we’ll compile the best of the stories into a package that’s bound to be memorable.

Send or call-in your story to Rich Landers, Outdoors editor, The Spokesman-Review, 999 W. Riverside Ave., Spokane, WA 99201 or e-mail richl@spokesman.com. Photos for possible use are welcome.

Callers can leave a message at 459-5577 extension 5508. Give name and phone number for return calls.
