Salk golf tourney to benefit choir

Salk Middle School’s eighth-grade choir is sponsoring a golf tournament on Sept. 25 at Indian Canyon Golf Course.

Proceeds will help more than 40 members of the choir travel to and compete at a choral festival in Honolulu in March.

The tournament begins at 1 p.m. The afternoon will include prizes for golfers and more than 30 baskets to be raffled off after the event. After the tournament, there will be a barbecue dinner.

This event is open to anyone who wants to play – either as an individual or as a four-person team.

Cost for individuals (includes golf, cart rental and dinner) is $75. A four-person team is $300. Registrations are due by Saturday.

Embroidered tournament polo shirts are available for $35 each.

Corporate sponsorships are available for the tournament. Sponsors at the $150 level will have their company sign displayed at a hole. A $500 sponsorship will receive a sign at a hole, team entry fee, barbecue dinner, and goodie bag. A $700 sponsor receives a sign at a hole, team entry fee, barbecue dinner, goodie bag, and four event polo shirts.

For additional information or tournament/sponsorship registration forms, contact Salk Choral director Margo Dreis at 448-8401.
