CVHS collecting school supplies for Hurricane Katrina survivors

The Spokesman-Review

Central Valley High School students and staff are holding a Hurricane Katrina relief drive to assist children displaced by the storm with necessary supplies for school.

The school is seeking donations such as new or gently used backpacks, toys, books, and clothing. School and art supplies needed include crayons, pencils, paper, colored paper, markers, colored pencils, scissors, glue, coloring books, stamps or any other school-related item. Monetary donations also are being accepted.

Donations may be dropped off at the high school, 821 S. Sullivan Road, until Tuesday. For more information, call the school at 228-5100.
