Spokane Valley Community Center is asking the community “to fill the pods” for children.
Large collection pods have been set up at area churches in hopes that people will fill the containers with coats for low-income children.
Donations of new or gently-used children and adult-sized coats, boots, hats, gloves and scarves are being collected Monday through Oct. 11 at the following locations:
Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 15319 E. Eighth Ave.
Spokane Valley Nazarene Church, 15515 E. 20th Ave.
Opportunity Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Pines Road.
East Valley Presbyterian Church, 5305 N. Harvard Road.
Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 810 S. Sullivan Road.
Peace Lutheran Church, 4124 N. Harvard Road.
St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 115 N. Raymond Road.
St. Paschal Catholic Church, 7404 E. Marietta.
Spokane Valley Community Center, 10814 E. Broadway Ave.
