Garvais-Louie

LoVina Louie of Plummer, Idaho, and Duane Garvais of Nine Mile Falls plan to marry Oct. 22 in Post Falls.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Deb and Jeanie Louie, Nespelem, Wash. The groom-to-be is the son of Mary Ellen Wenger, Wenatchee, and the late Kenneth Garvais.

Louie works at the Coeur d’Alene Tribal Wellness Center.

Jackson-Helland

Colette Helland of Faribault, Minn., and Mark Jackson of North Bend, Wash., plan to marry Dec. 17 in Bellevue, Wash.

Jackson is formerly of Spokane.

Clark and Cathie Helland, Willmar, Minn., are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Marlin Jackson, Uniontown, Wash., and Juanita Lewis, San Diego.

Helland, a graduate of Trinity Lutheran College, is employed at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. A graduate of Whitworth College and Gonzaga University, Jackson is employed at Trinity Lutheran College.

Cheshier-Barnes

Blake Barnes of Seattle and Mark Cheshier of Redmond, Wash., plan to marry in March in Spokane.

Barnes is formerly of Spokane.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Kathy Barnes, Liberty Lake. Joe and Cheryl Cheshier, Yreka, Calif., are the parents of the groom-to-be.

Barnes works at T-Mobile, and Cheshier is employed at Detto Technologies.

Gillen-King

Amanda King of Spokane and Nathaniel Gillen of Pullman plan to marry in summer 2006 in Spokane.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Linda King, Spokane. Scott and Jennifer Gillen, San Diego, are the parents of the groom-to-be.

A graduate of Apollo College, King is employed at Olympic Medical Center. Gillen is a student at Washington State University.

Renner-Scammell

Margretta Scammell and Joshua Renner, both of Spokane, plan to marry June 30 in Spokane.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Carl Hueber and Christy Scammell, Spokane, and the late Frederick Scammell. The groom-to-be is the son of Jim and Diane Renner, Kennewick.

Scammell graduated from Washington State University and works at Washington Trust Bank. Also a graduate of WSU and an Eastern Washington University graduate, the Renner works at Sterling Savings Bank.

Klim-Rutledge

Stacey Rutledge and Kevin Klim, both of Spokane, plan to marry Aug. 5 in Spokane.

Darwin and Sandy Rutledge, Post Falls, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Ed and Ann Klim, Vero Beach, Fla.

Rutledge graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver and works as a substitute teacher. Klim is a student at Eastern Washington University and works at A-l and Peak Tech Camera Repair.

Mills-Sperline

Kallie Sperline and Joshua Mills, both of Spokane, plan to marry Aug. 12 in Deer Park.

Melinda Warren, Spokane, and Eric Sperline and Leslie Hand, Renton, Wash., are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Fay and Lyla Mills, Spokane.

Sperline, a graduate of Washington State University, is employed at KREM and KSKN Television. A graduate of Whitworth College, Mills is employed at ClearChannel Radio.

Nellenbach-Peterson

Jill Peterson and Matthew Nellenbach, both of Spokane, plan to marry Aug. 19 in Spokane.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dwight and Sue Peterson, Spokane. The groom-to-be is the son of Carolyn Willson, Blossvale, N.Y., and Ronald Nellenbach, Cold Brook, N.Y.

A graduate of Eastern Washington University, Peterson works at United Lithographers. Nellenbach is a student at Spokane Community College and is employed at the Spokane International Airport.
