Man, girl sought in shooting

Secret Witness is offering a reward for information leading to the whereabouts of a man and a teenage girl on warrants for first-degree attempted murder.

Ivan Abramtchouk, 21, and Yelena V. Peregudova, 17, are wanted in connection with the shooting of 23-year-old Pavel A. Zubarev, Spokane police spokesman Cpl. Tom Lee said.

Zubarev is recovering at an area hospital from a gunshot wound to the chest.

He was shot at his apartment, 8909 N. Colton, on April 9, Lee said.

Abramtchouk last told police he lived at 8911 E. Vista Park Drive in Northwood, Lee said. He is described as white, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 160 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Abramtchouk is considered armed and dangerous.

Peregudova’s last known address was 1614 W. Augusta in Spokane, Lee said.

She is described as white, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 125 pounds with blond hair and brown eyes.

Bail has been set at $500,000 for Abramtchouk and Peregudova, Lee said. The couple may be driving a light-gray 1991 Toyota van with California license plate 5NZM033.

Anyone with information should call (509) 327-5111. Tipsters do not have to give their name to collect a cash reward but should leave a code name or number.
