Motorcyclist injured in collision with car

By From Staff Reports The Spokesman-Review

A motorcyclist was critically injured Monday night in a collision at Crestline and Rowan.

Officer William Hager, the Spokane Police Department’s graveyard shift spokesman, said the 36-year-old motorcyclist was northbound on Crestline when his Harley-Davidson was struck by a midsize car about 7:50 p.m.

The driver of the car, a 29-year-old woman, had stopped at a stop sign before pulling out and colliding with the motorcyclist.

Hager said the man’s name was being withheld until his family could be notified, and the woman’s name was not immediately available. She was taken to Holy Family Hospital as a precaution, while the man was taken to Deaconess Medical Center.

No citations had been issued late Monday.
