Stuckey earns repeat honor

Eastern Washington’s Rodney Stuckey has been named the Big Sky Conference men’s basketball player of the week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced Tuesday.

The 6-foot-5 guard from Kent, Wash., averaged 31 points, seven assists, five steals and 5.5 rebounds per game.

Katie Appleton recorded her first career double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Washington State to a 72-61 non-conference victory over San Jose State at San Jose, Calif.
