Karen Garcia reported Friday the $7,000 theft of a Kia Optima from her home on the 3300 block of N. Fifth Street.

Marc Shaffner, employee of Avista, reported Friday the $1,000 theft of tools from a vehicle at the business at 1735 N. 15th St.
