Humane Society campaign director speaking

Mark Lyman, a fourth generation Montana cattle rancher turned vegan, will talk about his journey from rancher to campaign director for the Humane Society of the United States in two presentations today.

He will talk about the Humane Society’s “Eating with Conscience” and “Beyond Beef” campaigns at Spokane Falls Community College, 11:30 a.m. in SUB Lounges A and B, 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive.

Lyman speaks again at 6 p.m. at the Community Building, 35 W. Main St.

Lyman is president of Voice for a Viable Future, an activist group that encourages sustainable living.

Both events are free and open to the public.
