Golf to aid Kootenai Humane Society

The Kootenai Humane Society will hold the second annual North Idaho Junior Golf Classic on Tuesday at the Avondale Golf Course, 10745 N. Avondale Loop in Hayden.

The tournament for ages 8 to 17 will begin at noon with a shotgun start and includes tee prizes; longest drive, closest to the pin, and putting/chipping contests; trophies and a barbecue.

Registration fee is $20.

Proceeds will benefit the Kootenai Humane Society.
