Tourney draws near

Forty-two teams will play 111 games during the four-day American Legion baseball Fourth of July Wood Bat Tournament that begins Thursday in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.

The senior tournament will be held at three sites: McEuen Field in Coeur d’Alene, Spokane Falls CC and Al K. Jackson Field (Shadle Park).

The junior tournament will be held at Gonzaga Prep, West Valley, Cheney and Lake City high schools.
