My favorite car: 1965 Spyder GT (replica)

Name: Kathy Roy, over 50, Spokane.

Purchased: September 2006

Why I love it: I love this 1965 (replica) car because of its smooth, sleek flowing body lines and sunny yellow color. This model is extremely rare, only 38 were produced. The all-American Ford V-8 muscle is pretty cool too. I bought this car as a companion to my husband’s Cobra Daytona Coupe. We have been having a blast going to a few local car shows and meeting other auto enthusiasts in the Spokane area. My favorite experience is really just driving the car. I’ve put 1,000 miles on it and love every minute of it. Yes I’m the little old lady in the flashy yellow roadster.

My next car will be: This will be my last hot rod, I can’t think of anything I would like better. This photo was taken at the top of Mt. Spokane on July 1.
