Worthy structure permitted at $19.4 million

Parker

A new, five-story Spokane Valley office building and parking garage underway by Spokane developer Walt Worthy will cost an estimated $19.4 million, according to Spokane Valley building permits for the project.

Worthy previously declined to disclose the cost of the 251,394-square-foot River View Corporate Center, expected to be completed late this year. Permits list the garage at $10.4 million, and the building, 16201 E. Indiana Ave., at about $9 million.

Update: Jack Marr, director of leasing for Worthy Enterprises, said those numbers are innacurate. He would not specify the project cost, but said it would be less than the permits state.

Worthy Enterprises representatives in late January said sale terms for the roughly 10-acre parcel, owned by Hanson Industries Inc., hadn’t been finalized. The property sold for about $2.2 million on Feb. 5, according to Spokane County records.
