Public hearing to discuss I-728 funding

The Central Valley School District will hold a public hearing Monday during the regularly scheduled board meeting to discuss options for use of I-728 funding for the 2008-2009 school year.

The board will hear a presentation of the district’s proposed I-728 “Student Achievement Initiative” plan followed by the public hearing. The proposed plan focuses on expenditures in two of the six categories designated by the state grant – instructional support and professional development.
