An item in the Locally column last Sunday about two Inland Northwest Junior Pee Wee Pop Warner football teams that played in the Corvallis Oregon Bowl contained some inaccuracies because of incomplete information available to the newspaper.

The Inland Northwest champion Panthers defeated the Corvallis Cowboys 33-0 to finish with a 10-1 record. The Cheney Blackhawks, who beat the Corvallis Cardinals 40-20, finished 9-1-1.

A third Inland Northwest team, the Vikings, also played in the Oregon Bowl, beating the Corvallis Red Chiefs 25-18, and finished the season 5-5.
