Jenna Sybesma scored a game-high 20 points Thursday night and the Loyola Marymount Lions handed the Gonzaga Bulldogs their first West Coast Conference loss of the season, a 75-60 decision at Malibu, Calif., that ended GU’s eight-game winning streak.

Heather Bowman made 7 of 11 shots on her way to 19 points and also pulled down 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs (16-7, 7-1), but the Lions (13-10, 5-3) overcame a 40-30 halftime deficit by shooting 55 percent from the floor in the second half.

Amanda Decoud had 19 points and seven rebounds for Loyola Marymount, while Renahy Young added 10 points.

Courtney Vandersloot had 10 points for Gonzaga.

•Atty Boyer had 20 points and 12 rebounds to lead Sacramento State (6-15, 4-5) to an 81-72 Big Sky Conference victory over Eastern Washington (3-19, 0-9) at Cheney.

Tatjana Sparavalo led four Eagles in double figures with 16 points. Sydney Benson had 15, Amy Bratvold 13 and Julie Piper 12 for Eastern, on a 12-game losing streak.

•Sherell Neal scored 17 points and Anikia Jawara added 14 to lead New Mexico State (17-5, 7-2) to a 54-51 Western Athletic Conference victory over Idaho (2-19, 1-8) at Moscow, Idaho.

Sara Dennehy scored 12 points to lead the Vandals.
