Purser slam helps R-Hawks ring Bells
Aaron Headrick’s two-run double down the left-field line broke a seventh-inning tie and the Spokane RiverHawks went on to an 11-7 West Coast Collegiate Baseball League victory over the Bellingham Bells Thursday night at Gonzaga University’s Patterson Baseball Complex.

Rob Folsom blasted a two-run homer in the bottom of the fifth to give Spokane a 6-5 lead.
Bellingham (13-17) got homers from Kyle Boe and Sean Meehan.
The WCCBL All-Star game is Tuesday in Moses Lake. The RiverHawks return to action Thursday with a single game at Wenatchee.
