Foothills Community Church offers VBS

Nina Culver

Foothills Community Church will host a vacation Bible school session Aug. 4 through 8 at the church, at 11102 N. Forker Road.

Children age 4 through the eighth grade are invited to attend. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon each day. The children will present a program Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

Rummage sale

St. John Vianney Catholic Church will host the final day of its annual rummage sale today from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lunch items will be available for purchase. Admission is free.

The church will also have a $2 bag sale on Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The bag sale includes everything but furniture items.

The sales will be in the St. John Vianney School gym, at 410 N. Farr Road. Call 926-2587 for more information.
