Louisiana-style cookout to benefit foundation

Alligator ribs cooked on the barbecue, crawfish, jambalaya and more will be served up buffet-style in the Louisiana Bayou Cookout fundraiser Friday and next Saturday at the Bayou Bar and Grill, 4511 N. Barker Road

Classic rock band Rainshadow will play from 7:30 p.m. to midnight. Dinner begins at 6:30 and will be served until it runs out each evening. There will be prizes and giveaways.

Proceeds will benefit the Mike Utley Foundation. Dinner is $15 or $20 with a souvenir T-shirt; there is no cover charge. For more information, call 892-3750.
