The Spokesman-Review

A 1996 Geo Prizm containing two adults and three children veered off Interstate 90 in the Silver Valley and rolled in the median at 11:31 p.m. Thursday. The crash injured a 4-year-old girl, the Idaho State Patrol reported.

Danielle M. Kilburn, 28, was driving east on Interstate 90 east of Pinehurst when the car left the road and entered the median, according to an ISP news release. The Prizm rolled before coming to rest in the westbound lanes.

Also in the car with Kilburn were Chad E. Sharp, 36; Faith Kilburn, 8; and Zander H. Sharp, 4. All were wearing restraints and none of them was injured.

However, emergency crews transported 4-year-old Trinity Kilburn to Shoshone Medical Center. Her condition was not known.

The investigation into the crash continues, but alcohol was listed as a factor, according to State Patrol.

ATV accident victim identified

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office on Friday identified the 85-year-old man who died Thursday when the ATV he was using to spray weeds overturned and pinned him.

William Emanuel Jensen died in the 4100 block of West Washington Road.

His family went looking for him about an hour after he was due back home for lunch and found him pinned under the vehicle, according to a news release.

It appears he may have been trying to drive across an embankment when the ATV overturned.
