Snow slips past North Idaho

Ryan Brimley hit five 3-pointers on his way to 20 points to lead the Snow Badgers to a 79-76 victory over the North Idaho Cardinals in a Scenic West Athletic Conference men’s basketball regular-season finale on Saturday in Coeur d’Alene.

Reserve Zach Ngawaka had 12 points and eight boards for the Badgers (14-16, 5-10).

Kerry Williams scored a game-high 23 points and David Johnson added 21 for the Cardinals (19-11, 5-10).

Fourth-seeded Snow and fifth-seeded North Idaho square off at 7:30 p.m. Friday in the first round of the SWAC tourney at the College of Southern Idaho.
