Hallett elementary fundraiser

Students at Hallett Elementary School in Medical Lake are participating in a fun run May 23 to raise funds for its associated student body.

The funds raised from the “Wow Now Fund Run” will go toward extra activities in the school such as Math is Cool, a fourth-grade trip to Camp Reed, safety patrol, a sixth-grade trip to Silverwood, assemblies and more.

The students have a goal of $10,000 and will start to collect funds starting Friday. They will be asked to get donations from family and friends and will not be going door to door.

Businesses in the Medical Lake community have donated prizes for the students. For every $5 a student turns in, they will receive a ticket to enter a drawing.

If you would like to donate to the Hallett ASB, call the school at 565-3400.
