Crashes cause delays on I-90
Car crashes on westbound and eastbound Interstate 90 near the state line snarled traffic for hours beginning about 5 p.m. Friday.
Three cars collided in the eastbound lanes around 5 p.m., and two cars crashed in the westbound lanes about 20 minutes later, according to the Idaho State Police. Emergency crews transported victims from the first crash to the hospital and tow trucks cleared the wreckage.
Injuries sustained in the crashes were not life threatening, police said.

Murder trial to stay in county
Two men accused of killing a witness in a criminal case against one of them will be tried in Spokane County, a judge ruled Friday.
Carl A. Hoskins, 56, and Christopher H. Devlin, 55, are charged with aggravated first-degree murder in the killing of Daniel D. Heily, 52.
Hoskins and Devlin’s defense had asked to move the trial to Stevens County.
