Wednesday lunch topic will be importance of sleep

Two researchers from Washington State University will discuss the importance of sleep in a lunch talk on Wednesday in Spokane.

“What’s Sleep Got To Do With It? Everything” will feature Dr. Gregory Belenky, director of the Sleep and Performance Research Center at WSU Spokane, and James Krueger, regents professor of veterinary and comparative anatomy, pharmacology and physiology at WSU Pullman.

They will discuss the importance of sleep in staying healthy, as well as the relationship between sleep and a person’s performance.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Davenport Hotel, Marie Antoinette Room, 10 S. Post St., followed by the lunch program at noon. The cost is $35.
