Coeur d’Alene police

Doug Rod reported Monday the $1,666 theft of hand and power tools from a home on the 800 block of W. Lakeshore Drive.

Desiree Houchens, security manager for Fred Meyer, reported Monday the $1,305 theft of goods and services when insufficient funds checks were written at the business at 560 W. Kathleen Ave.

Florencio Rodriguez reported Monday the $430 theft of cash, cell phone and DVD player from his home on the 500 block of E. Borah Avenue.

Kootenai County sheriff

Donna Hedlund, Newman Lake, Wash., reported Sunday $400 in damage to windows and the $1,013 theft of a DVD player, purse, wallet and personal items from a 2002 Ford Excursion parked on U.S. Forest Service Road 499 near Fernan.

Glen Putratz, Dalton Gardens, reported Sunday $250 damage to a window and $1,200 theft of bucket seats and center console from a 1995 Ford F150 pickup parked on the 140 block of E. Canfield Ave.
