Eastern Washington raced to an early 21-8 lead on Valentine’s 3-pointer with 13:15 left in the first half. Walla Walla climbed within 24-18 on a steal and layup by Gerard Dauphin with 8:48 remaining before the Eagles finally pulled away. Winford’s corner jumper capped a 9-0 burst that pushed the lead to 33-18. Dauphin finished with 10 points for Walla Walla.
