Crews cap gas leak at East Sprague business

The Spokesman-Review
Crews have capped a gas leak at an East Sprague business that had closed part of the street this morning, according to an Avista Utilities spokeswoman. The leak was reported at Lindsay Soft Water, 1819 E. Sprague Ave., at about 11 a.m. and capped about 30 minutes later, spokeswoman Laurine Jue said. Jue said it appeared a plow had ruptured the gas line where it connected to a meter outside the business.
