Health plan full of flaws

The Spokesman-Review

I am urging Sens. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell to vote no on the Senate health care reform bill.

Four reasons health care legislation in Congress is a failure:

1. It wastes money. Cost estimates are a subterfuge by corrupt Senate leadership who have no concern for the financial integrity of the USA. The nation cannot afford such new expenses.

2. It does not cover everyone. Some American citizens are left on the sidelines, when all the rhetoric claimed to cover all citizens. It does cover illegal aliens, the noncitizens who reside in our midst.

3. It takes the dignity from the individual to make their own life and health choices, and places them in faraway impersonal bureaucrats.

4. It funds abortion. This is not a life-saving or life-giving bill. It decides toward death for the unborn and the elderly.

Stop spending the United States into oblivion beginning with this health care legislation. Engage in an honest debate on healthy legislation that does not break the bank, destroy jobs and irreparably damage an entrepreneurial health care system that is the envy of the world.
