Prison deal details scarce

The Spokesman-Review

President Obama has directed the federal government to purchase a prison in Thomson, Ill., to house up to 100 Gitmo terrorists.

This sale should help the local economy to include hiring of prison employees suppliers and penal specialists; this prison is patterned after an escape-proof prison in Colorado. Hmm, how many terrorists escaped from Gitmo?

I wonder how this prison was selected. Does the fact that Obama’s political career started here have anything to do with it? This proclaimed transparent administration has a habit of legislating behind closed doors, then passing a health plan that nobody has read, that nobody wants or has the means to pay for.
