CV students will bring music to mall this week

The Central Valley School District will host its annual Central Valley Days on the Mall in the Valley Mall this week.

The district will have more than 30 displays featuring student work and achievement spread throughout the first floor of the mall beginning today and running through Wednesday.

Beginning Monday, 23 vocal and instrumental groups from 17 elementary, middle and high schools in the district will offer free performances in the JC Penney Court. Performances will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
