Gun control form of slavery

The Spokesman-Review

It’s a sad commentary that Americans are stockpiling, and storing, firearms and ammunition much as our forefathers did before the Revolutionary War.

In 1775, a tyrannical British king was trying to disarm American citizens. Today, a cabal of left-wing, anti-freedom, Democratic Party extremists, from Congress to the White House, is attempting to accomplish the same thing.

It might interest Mr. Obama to know that gun control, in America, got its start when certain factions wanted to disarm newly freed slaves. Indeed, slavery is what gun control is really all about. It’s about turning citizens into subjects.

Polls have shown that the American people value the Second Amendment almost as much as they treasure the First Amendment. Ignoring that fact has proven costly, to Democrats, in some recent elections.

It’s despicable that the vile, “Big Brother” Democratic Party continues its unconstitutional assaults on our right to keep and bear arms.
